CiM – Companhia de Dança
Founded in 2007, it has been promoting a pioneering approach to artistic creation in relation to inclusion, through dance and imagery. CiM seeks diversity in its paths and continuous enrichment through experiences, where multidisciplinarity emerges as a driving force for new methods and responses in artistic production and exploration.
With a repertoire of 15 performances, presented nationally in over 29 cities and internationally in 12 different countries, involving 80 artists with and without disabilities, and a strong educational component, including 36 workshops with over 2,000 participants, it has been a long and rewarding journey, marked by great achievements shared with more than 210,000 spectators.
CiM carries out regular training and awareness-raising work, focusing on the unique movement qualities and expressiveness of each dancer/performer. Through choreography, it enhances a more creative perspective on the concepts of ability and limitation, revealing diversity as a driving force.
